A Pop of Color

Okay I must admit, I have always been scared of using colored eye shadow since I mainly stick to neutral brown tones! Mainly because I am scared of ending up looking like a clown but i thought it was finally time to experiment. On this eye look I used BHCosmetics minis from the California collection and a baked eye shadow that came in the  Ipsy  bag. Before applying anything I did prime my eyelids with Urban Decay's Primer Potion to make the look last all day without smudging. As a base for my lid I did have to use Foxy from my Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. I applied San Francisco on my crease to help blend out the rest of the colors. Then i went ahead and applied Neptune to the outer corner and inner corner of my eye and buffed it out a little for no harsh lines. On the center of my lid, around the tear duct and on the inner lower lash line I packed on some Malibu to brighten up the look. I did blend the colors a bit, but not too much so you could still appreciate the real shade of the shadow.Once that was nice and blended I took Hollywood and buffed it right above the crease to finish that smokey type of look but with a pop of color. I went back and added more Neptune to that outer V and of coarse what is an eye look without mascara and eye-liner.
